This workshop will highlight NIS's process of bringing design thinking to our PYP students. From the essential considerations to designing the curriculum, this workshop is intended to show how NIS is introducing empathy, design, and prototyping to younger students.

Intended Audience: Primary years teachers or anyone interested in bringing Design Thinking to their curriculum, or exploring and cultivating another problem-solving mindset.

Workshop Outcomes:
Participants will come away with an understanding of design thinking as a problem-solving mindset that leads to innovative solutions and how this mindset can be cultivated in younger students. A variety of age-appropriate design challenges will outlined.
